MEALS
Campers can either bring their own lunch in a small, insulated container with their name on it or they may purchase lunch from the gym “snack account”.
A “snack account” can be set up for your child to purchase snacks or lunch each day.
The snack account helps monitor how much your child spends and/or eats.
A list of snacks, lunches, drinks, and prices are attached for your review.
If you send money with your child for snacks instead of setting up a “snack account”, we will not be responsible for lost or spent money.
VALUABLES
Valuable items should not be brought to camp.
New Heights Gym
WILL NOT be responsible for lost or stolen items.
Items found will be placed in the “Lost and Found Box” located in the gym.
Be sure to label all items.
DISCIPLINE
We strive to make our Summer Camp a fun and safe environment for every child to enjoy.
Discipline problems, fighting, foul language, name-calling, and bullying will not be tolerated.
Our counselors are instructed to correct the misbehaving camper with a warning for the first offense and time-out for second offense.
If the problem continues, the counselors are to send the camper to the
Camp
Supervisor.
If the behavior continues, the
Camp
Supervisor will notify the parents and will ask to have the student picked up from camp.
The camper may return to camp the next day, but if problem persists, he/she will not be allowed to continue attending camp.
If the camper is not allowed to return to camp because of disciplinary problems, there will be no refund of any fees paid.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT PROCEDURES
In order to keep track of each camper, it is very important that the parent or guardian signs the camper in when they arrive and sign them out when they leave.
We must be notified of who is expected to pick up the camper for each day.
DRESS CODE
For most of the days, the campers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes, shorts, shirt, socks, and tennis shoes.
Of course on special “dress” days they can wear costumes.
Please remember to label all items and clothing.
MISC. INFORMAITON
We have an open door policy when it comes to communications.
We encourage parents to ask questions, talk to us, and give us feedback so that we can improve.
Anytime you need to talk to us, you may call Bridget LeLeux at 365-3806.
We look forward to meeting you this summer.
SWIMMING LESSONS
We do offer swimming lessons through the camp.
Sessions consist of 8 hours in a 2-week period.
A
maximum of 6 students per session will be allowed.
It will be on a first come, first serve basis.
The cost for swimming lessons is
$65 per child if attending camp or
$75 per child if not attending camp.
We will transport the students that attend camp to and from swimming lessons in a private van.
Students must provide own bag, towel, swim suit, sunscreen, and eye goggles.
Attached is the registration form and waiver for swimming lessons.
